  • Crab Grass - on the putting greens. Bare spots on the greens. white powdery stuff and sand, grit, weeds, on the greens. So these were beyond poor. The price was OK, but not cheap for conditions. Cours...  read more »
  • I have been playing at this course for a couple of years now and it is in the roughest shape. Greens are spotty and bumpy Fairways are grown in with crabgrass. Unfortunate because I like both courses ...  read more »
  • I've been playing at this club for years. I love in NY and come down to Williamsburg 2 to ensure times a year and play golf. For whatever the reason, the course is in rough shape. The first day we pla...  read more »
  • This course does not even deserve a star. It deserves a negative star. My wife and I went for a weekend getaway to Williamsburg and we decided to go play there. The worst course I have seen in my entire playing years! This course needs to be taken off all golf sites. The fairways were dirt brown and the greens look as if you are putting on a rough! Don't ever think about playing there! After playing 2 holes I went to ask for my money back but they refused. So disappointing and poor customer service! Don't get duped.
  • I've played this course a lot over the years. It was one of the best courses in the area. I played today 6/12/16 and it was in the worst condition I have ever seen. The greens have dead spots all over them with some areas with no grass at all. There was also hydraulic fluid from the mowers that has dripped all over the greens which means future dead spots. The sand traps are nothing but mud and are unplayable. I'm pissed I paid $50 to play there should have stopped and got my money back after hole 1. My father has been a member from the first year the course opened and is seriously thinking about leaving because the declining conditions of the course. Save your money and play some where else.
  • I played here on July 10th the Jamestown course- got an Internet deal of $40 - that is the only good thing I can say about this course. The fairways were not mowed - large clumps of grass everywhere - ran into a twelvesome on the second hole - yes 6 carts on one hole - I was a single playing at 4:30 in the afternoon - they finally let me play through a few holes later - the greens are in horrible shape - uncut and black spots everywhere - I should have quit and demanded my money back - but I was on vacation and this would be the only time I had to play - so moving on to the back nine I came across a sixsome on the 13th hole that never let me play through - but had several opportunities - would have been nice to have a ranger - I actually skipped a hole ahead as my frustration had mounted and I couldn't wait anymore - if I could give zero stars I would - I will never go back to this course and I suggest anyone reading this to play elsewhere - I am a avid golfer with a 7 handicap - I have played courses all over the country and this by far was the worst.
  • I've played this course many times over the years and have never seen it in such poor shape. The guy guy behind the counter said he was giving us the afternoon rate $40.00. My friend asked to buy some golf balls since he had given his to his young son to use. His response was we don't have any balls for sale because the owner can't get any from the supplier. After we paid and had the golf ball discussion we went to the first hole on the Yorktown track. It had sand on the green so thick you could not even putt. You would think the pro shop would have said something before we forked out forty bucks to play. The greens were in horrible shape on the course and the fairways not much better. No excuses with all the rain we have had this summer. Save your money and play somewhere the pro shop has balls to sell. It should have been a clue
  • I set up an outing with family members that turned into a miserable day. The course is in terrible shape and should be closed. Greens are dead, anywhere off the fairway grass is weedy and 5 inches tall, sand traps are mud. Save your money. Don't Go. I know we wont again.
