  • Biked from our campground 2-1/2 miles. Fishing and hiking are main things to do. Very pretty. Would go there again.
  • Our family spent the afternoon walking around the park and enjoying the early fall weather. The kids enjoyed the swings, slides and other playground equipment. We only spent a few hours there and plan...  more »

  • Wonderful, deep clear lake. Facilities are new, and staff is helpful. I watched an employee help several beginners in and out of their rental kayaks. Can't always count on help at other parks with boat rentals.
  • A great park with more trails than can be traveled in a day. Several trail routes can be taken of varying length and difficulty. A large dog park and picnic area are adjacent to the parking area, as is a fishing pier. Boat rentals are available for canoes, kayaks, and rowboats. Paddle boats are also available and a great option for younger children. The concession counter has cold drinks and snacks available for reasonable prices.
  • Park has had recent upgrades. Nice passive use park.
  • I'd give them five stars but they loose one because of the three ticks I found on me. Really a great park though!
  • A beautiful park with a beautiful lake very serene. Great place to enjoy the outdoors!
