  • There are only 6 handicap parking spots in the area. Two were occupied by "jacked up" pick up trucks. Merchant Square's accessibility for mobility impaired individuals is poor.  more »

  • Love this place. Just great to walk around with the family and shop/eat. Everything is pricier here but you pay for the ambiance. Favorite restaurant in Merchants Square is the Trellis.
  • A nice place to walk around, grab a bite, or just sit and watch. Plethora of shops, restaurants, history. There's a candy shop in back near one of the parking lots that has candy from around the world. Fun find!
  • Awesome family vacation stip. It was so much fun and the kids absolutely loved it. Bucket list stop for sure.
  • Great lessons in history. All children should go here. This is the founding of our country. Nation builders Jefferson, Washington, Madison and others give a great perspective to our history. A must visit place.
  • Cute shops line the paths and if you go on Saturdays excluding winter months they have vendor tents and tables lining the street. During Christmas time there is even an ice rink. Everything is really touristy but with my obsession of collecting gold thin place ornaments that say the places name I have to go in. Is that fudge I smell? Yep I ended up there too. Everyone is super nice and I ended up getting a few take back gifts in the shops around. Everything is in good walking distance of each other and there are plenty of benchs in between for those who need a stop. Despite the "tourist trap" it's really a great place walk around, look for souvenirs, and grab something to eat.
