  • Clean. Extremely Family Friendly. Great Times. The cleanliness surpassed expectations (and I'm making a Disney comparison here). Beautiful park, with gorgeous landscaping throughout. All the park staff was friendly with plenty of both child and adult appropriate rides and entertainment (shows, bands, music). Some might be able to do it all in a day; recommend 2 days if you have kids in tow and want to take your time. Highly recommend this park.
  • An amazing park with rides, roller coasters, shows, amusement activities and a large variety of food options for all ages. Plenty of parking available, season tickets, one day passes, plenty of ticket booths (where personnel help you to purchase tickets) and booths available for you to purchase tickets (without personnel), and group sales counters available to provide you with better customer service than the ticket booths (with personnel). Train will pick you up from the large parking lot and drop you near the ticket booths, walk a little further to get to group sales (shortly as you begin to go down the hill), use group sales if ticket booth personnel cannot help you, after passing group sales on the right and at the bottom of the hill, they will check your bags (if any), if you don't have bags, then you don't need to go through the bag inspection lines. After the bag inspection area, you will walk through the gate, they will scan your pass and then you are free to roam throughout the park. Enjoy!
  • My boys are getting older so they enjoy this place more and more. I am the one having problems keeping up with them. It is always fun to visit! The discounted seasonal pass is a great value in early spring. We visited both the Busch Gardens and the Water Country in one day on our last trip.
  • If you can't make it to Europe, or if you've never been, this is a neat experience. I don't love amusement parks but I do enjoy Busch Gardens. It feels more elegant than other parks, a bit less crowded and the scenery is beautiful. The park is surrounded by trees, a river or lake, extensive landscaping, and each section is designed to look like another country. It's especially fun when they have the food and wine festival, which serves tapas sized food and beverages from around the world. I much prefer Busch Gardens to anything in Orlando.
  • We had our three year old grandson with us. I was a little worried that we might not have enough to do to occupy the day but we had so much fun riding so many different rides not just in the Sesame Street section. The food was very good and he enjoyed the scenery along the paths. And all the workers we talked with we're very helpful and polite also . One of our highlights was the Irish show . We just had a really good day. Thank you for so many good memories.

Where to stay in Williamsburg

Williamsburg offers lodgings for every taste, including four-star resorts, quaint inns, and budget-friendly hotels. Accommodations in the city's historical district provide easy access to all of the area's major attractions, but they also charge much higher prices than equally comfortable guesthouses in some of the outlying neighborhoods. For a genuine Virginian experience, consider pitching a tent or renting a cottage in one of the area's popular campgrounds, which offer shuttle services to the city's major attractions and provide free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and fenced-in areas for pets.
