  • This place was awesome. It's old and small but has lots of character and the hospitality here is tough to beat. They didn't require a credit card to hold my reservation which is rare. Got there paid in full for my 3 nights in the Hacienda Suit. It was perfect for all 6 of us (2 adults, 4 kids) with the queen air mattress we brought. The included breakfast was in their restaurant and not continental. It was what ever our choice was off their regular breakfast menu. The food was great. If you enjoy a night cap the Saloon was a great place to have one. Decent prices, great selection of beer and drinks. It's where the locals seem to go and those are my kind of places. The owner made his rounds frequently asking how our stay was and if there was anything we needed. While preparing to leave he made one final check with us. I explained we were thoroughly satisfied and would be staying next time we were in town. His response "We may not be a Hilton, but we sure know how to have fun!" and thanked us for our patronage. I have to agree with that statement. Sure it's not luxurious, it's better. It has old route 66 character. The rooms are well kept and clean. The complaints in other reviews are from those who didn't get it. These were all things meant to add to the theme of the rooms, not half ass repairs or lack of maintenance. Again everything was great and we plan on staying there on our next trip. I'd highly recommend this place unless your looking for a fancy luxury hotel.
  • Place looked nice. But it stops there. Food OK but definitely not worth the price. Service was horrible. For a family of 4 we had 2 sets of utensils, 2 napkins. She said it was'finger food so we didn't need them' ! The kids asked for ketchup she said she'd have to look because they were out. But then she got a bottle from another table. She wasn't friendly at all. I didn't leave a tip as my ticket was aprox 10$ higher than i calculated and she wouldn't give me a detail on why. Horrible place to go!!!!!!!!!
  • Went into the branding iron and the family style place next door. Waited 5 min and then left both places because no one came out from wherever they were hiding. Both restaurants had no patrons. I now know why. If I could do a negative star I would
  • Friendly service, good breakfast, fair price. Tuffy the guard cat is a stud, even in the winter. Cozy and clean. Nice small town feel
  • Good place to grab a steak. Cool wild West setup in that Plaza as well
