  • Truly a great experience!! Deer are friendly and I think the cow elk had a crush on me. Admission was VERY reasonable and the staff was incredible. They make you feel like family and genuinely want you to have a once in a lifetime experience. There was a great variety of animals and all of them were accessible and friendly. No matter your age, you will enjoy this place.
  • Gift shop is priced extremely fairly. Cost is about what you'd expect for entry. My kids have a great time each time we come about every 3 to 4 years. New are the porcupines and sweet bottle fed babies they were. Want a fun time with the family this is the place.
  • This place is such a fantastic experience! There are several unique photo props, which our grandson enjoys. All the animals are rescued from every situation from people attempting to make them pets to wounded and/abandoned cases. They have a large heard of American deer a couple of Japanese deer, rain deer, 2 beautiful large porcupines, a sweet camel, a few mini horses, a couple of small donkeys, lamas, a few pot belly pigs, a few goats, a few adorable Japanese species of hand sized monkeys, a VERY talkative large white cockatoo and a few other animals. The deer come eat out of your hand and there is a small petting area...all of the animals seem to enjoy the attention and admiration. The staff are kind, VERY knowledgeable and eager to ensure each guest has a memorable and educational experience. It was $11.50 for each adult $6.75 for our 10 year old, plus a couple dollars for a cup of feed and you can keep the cup as a souvenir, if you wish, or they can re-use it. Then there is their shop! Oh, a wonderland of unique trinkets! I usually pick up a couple pieces of jewelry (they have some interesting locally hand made choices along with shopped out items). Our grandson chose a bear claw back scratcher, 1 for each hand (brilliant man), and a bag full of magnetic stones that he spent a long time deciding upon each. Also, because for me, a bathroom can either enhance or severely damper an experience, they have clean and cute bathrooms...with hand painted hoof prints and barn style stall doors. Overall, the deer farm is a must do and equally enjoyable for any age. We love you, deer farm!!
  • Friendly service here. The gift shop has lower prices compared to most places in the area. It was definitely a fun experience! Be sure to wear older clothes because you will get dirty!
  • My son and I had a very pleasant experience at the Dear Farm. The animals were amazing and the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. We loved all the animals and they were very gentle with us. The dear ate food right out of the palm of our hands. We hope to return again.
