  • Pretty good casino. Crowd was lively on a Saturday afternoon. I only played blackjack for a couple of hours on a 5 dollar table with a continuous shuffer. The dealers were fun and friendly the pace of play was good. It did not feel rushed. I ate at the buffet. It was nearly empty at 8:15 pm. The food was not bad but the selection was pretty small.
  • The smoking in the casino is out of hand. They say it's 50/50 but people walk through the no smoking section smoking. No one says anything to them. It is really 70/30 smoking to no smoking section. I told a worker about someone smoking, they walked the other way and did not say anything to them. All the good machines are in the smoking section. The last two times I was there, there was 1 row not even working. The smoking section should be only in the penny room, so everybody could enjoy the large part of the casino.
  • Mohegan Sun is a great casino. Apart from having multiple areas for slots and table games on the casino floor, they also have gift shops, a house racing track, and multiple restaurants ranging from casual to formal, all of which provide great service. The casino hotel is conveniently accessible from the casino level and the rooms are quite nice and affordable. The casino hosts multiple social events open to the public, and ballrooms can be rented for a night to host a formal social function (wedding, prom, etc).
  • Never again ! Rooms are not clean, everything is served on paper cups or plates .they do have coffee pots in room by the cup. Gives a half cup and of course paper. There no place to have breakfast unless you want the buffet.and forget dinner buffet on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. It is not open. We went out of casino for dinner. Not much on food court food. And how many times can you eat at Johnny rockets. I am surprised the have the mohagans son name on it.i have been to the one in Connecticut that one is true resort and casino.this one is so far from it.i don't know about anyone else but when I go away.i pay well and expect to be able to relax and enjoy.not have electric plugs in room that do not work. Dust along walls. Mirror in room did not look like was cleaned in month...by the way I call about but was told sorry ,they would pass along my feed back....good luck if you go.. hope your experience is better then ours was...
  • We went to Pearl Sushi Bar for dinner. The service was good...a little inattentive but not too bad. Food was really good..had hibachi scallops and husband has sashimi platter. Plenty of food and price wasn't too bad. Would go again.
