  • This was a very small aquarium that cares more for entertainment than conservation. I found most of the exhibits livable, but I didn't like the alligator exhibit. Everything else was fine.
  • I wish I could rate this 0 stars. Like Sarah said in the last review this place is cruel. Everything is so sad and all of the animals are depressed. Eels love dark reefs to hide under and big rocks and this humongous eel got the smallest tank. It sat againsted the back of the tank with its mouth hanging open just staring. It was sad. Same goes for the blow fish. A fish that can blow up very big was in such a small tank. The fish was laying at the bottom of the tank breathing heavily. One of the lizards had a sign that said keep back I don't like interaction. of course it doesn't like interaction because people are going there to just stare at something that's trapped in a tank. And the alligators!? The cruelest, most biggest and saddest part. Trapped in a tank with fake grass and clear water. There's three BIG alligators in that tank. The water can't even fit one in it. Alligators like to blend in with merky water. A big space with real grass and swampy water. That place was fucked up. I beg you, if you have a heart inside of you. Please, don't support that place. I do beg you.
  • It was really fun even though it's small. And it was worth it to feed the aligators, and the turtled. All the pens were nice and the animals looked like they were taken care of well. BTW if you want to know about the iguana or any animal just ask a worker there
  • I wish I could rate Seaport Aquarium 0 stars. I was almost in tears by the time we left. The living conditions of these animals was atrocious. When the alligator didn't want to eat the food pellets, the keeper went in and started poking a bigger gator with a broom until he went in the pool (which, btw, was barely big enough for the 1 gator, and now there were 2 in there). Just so that people could feel like they didn't waste $5 on gator pellets. There was also an iguana with a sign that said to keep 2 feet back, because he doesn't like interaction. The poor thing must be aggitated and stressed all day every day. And the sharks that you can pet are also kept in tiny shallow pools, with no stimulation except the people reaching into the water all day. This place should honestly be shut down. If you want to see wildlife, go on a whale watch or something so you can see them in their own habitat. PLEASE don't support places like this, that obviously care more for the money they're making than they do for the animals.
  • My 4 year loved the place. She was fascinated with the close up views of the animals.
