  • I've been visitng Babler Park since I was about 5 years old... and we love this place. Lots of trails to walk, places to ride a bike and great picnic and camping locations.  more »
  • Full of interesting trails. Wonderful picnic venues. And quiet shade. Off the beaten path so it is rarely crowded and privacy is almost always assured. One of our favorite Missouri state parks.  more »

  • The park itself is great, but the hosts of the campground were much less inviting, accommodating, and helpful than other Missouri State Parks I have visited. That being said, the actual camping areas were nice and clean, but the outhouse areas hadn't been tended to in a long time. After a good cleaning and a revamp of attendants it would be a great place to camp. We still got to make some memories and the park is only about 15-20 minutes from Six Flags and is much cheaper than a hotel.
  • Beautiful park. Light traffic and great for hill interval training for road bike enthusiasts. Also wonderful for family picnics with clean sites, shelters benches and BBQ pits.
  • This is by far our favorite place to stay in Missouri. Nice camp grounds and ready nice overall. Just watch out for the raccoons.
  • This is a great place for family hikes! There are several short trails (1-2 miles) that are great for less experienced hikers. The trails can be somewhat rugged in areas, and are mostly unpaved (I think one trail is paved about 1/4 of the way, but that's it). I only gave it 4 stars because their camping area wasn't all that great. The campsites are squashed really close together, and while we did not camp there, it looked like the tents would be uncomfortably close.
  • Great place to hike. Good options of long trails 3+ miles or shorter ones, 1-2 miles. Not too rugged but I suggest good solid hiking shoes or sneakers. Ground cover could be solid surface like a paved road or dirt and rocks through the woods.
