  • Hard to believe it was an airport. Worth driving to it and seeing the Spirt facility!
  • Super museum! Full of things for kids of all ages.
  • Great little piece of both Kansas & Wichita history!
  • I've been in Wichita for over 20 years and never been to this museum until recently. I was surprised on how good it turned out to be. It had several simulators that were a hit especially for the kids. It was winter when I went so only one Fed Ex airplane was open to go into. They said the others are open during the warmer weather. We also had guests from Canada who were with us and they really liked it. You can even go up to the control tower. I think they can add a few more things to it. Looked like there was plenty of space to do so.
  • Disappointing... For an area with so much flying history there was nothing in here... a big building in need of a lot of work. very little content. The planes outside are all in very poor condition and they don't even have any signage about them (except the occasional duck taped tags). this place could be a great place to learn about the history/future of aviation but in its current state/setup i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
