  • Rented county line picnic area site #4. Once arrive it was filthy, cigarette buts everywhere. 1/2 inch of dirt and bird poop on the tables. Grill were stuffed with trash and cigarette buts and ash. Website advertises has electricity, but it has none. We were stuck with crock pot after cockpit with no heat. Good luck getting a refund! Can't get one person on the phone. Left message after message!
  • Primitive camping was closed in mid-October. Couldn't reach staff by phone or at the park. No notification on the website. Nice park but RV camp ground was full of trash and discarded food even though there are signs all over that say campers need to use dumpster. Nonexistent community among campers. RV camper was upset because I was ruining his campfire by using my bike light to set up in the dark. Host Mark was nice, but park itself seems to cater to RV not tent camping.
  • It's an okay park. Rented the County Line pavilion, and the website said it included electricity. Arrived to find there is no electricity. After searching for a park employee for hours, we learned their had been no electricity for many years. However, their is a project underway to fix it - however the park employee said to not hold our breath, as it will probably be awhile before their is lights and electric!
  • Beautiful Lake nice resort in the park, good Verizon reception. Only electric hookups with many more 30am vs 50amp services
  • Stopped and had a peaceful, impromptu picnic under an oak tree by the water.
