  • Whitefish Mountain was just awesome skiing plain and simple. No lines, no one running over my skiis, lots of runs (all levels) and lots of room to maneuver. It was the best ski trip I have taken to da...  more »
  • Fun mountain, helpful & friendly staff. This place gets old without Powder. Family friendly. On site rentals one brand with poor selection of skies and boots. Bring your own or search on line.
  • I love Big Mountain for ski-ing or snowboarding. It is one of the most economical mountains to ski/ride and everyone on the mountain is very friendly. Ski in / ski out is the way to go - it also gives...  more »

  • If your looking for adventure this summer or fall I would highly recommend the zip lining at Whitefish Mountain. I'm scared of heights but still went and it was amazing. It cost $70 and you get to go down 7 zip lines. It takes several hours to complete and does require a bit of hiking so wear comfortable shows. Two guides are with you to make sure your safe. We had Jake and Brent and they were awesome guys. Bring your sunglasses and if you have access to a GoPro camera I would highly recommend filming your ride. Awesome place.
  • Big Mountain is the best. I appreciate the many improvements they've made over the many decades I've been coming here, but I don't appreciate the concomitant increase in price and pretension. "Big Mountain" suits me much better than "Whitefish Mountain Resort". Also, I hate that they charge for a lift ticket down after you've hiked up. $8! You're killing me, Smalls. Anyway, despite its flaws, I love Big Mountain.
  • What a fun mountain to play on. When you have the scenery it's spectacular, when you don't it's just plumb fun.
  • Good terrain. Great employees. Snobby patrons. But I'm such a swell guy and expect the same. LOL
  • Rated #11 nationally this year (2016). Great terrain for all levels, fantastic snow and zero lift lines even in the busiest times make this place one of the all time best areas in the country.
