  • This place has the nicest paved trails to ride a bike onion the local area. You can ride eight miles. That's a long way for a average person. Can you tell we are recreational bikers only,
  • great bike/hike trail here! my teenagers enjoy the golf course as well. water park fun for little ones, playground too, but not so much for older kids. very pretty here!
  • played a golf outing at Indian springs. it was a great day. everyone working there was so very friendly, from the pro shop, to the food and beverage counter, to the starter, and the beverage cart girl...  read more »
  • Great big area with a lot to do, it's usually busy with cyclists looking to ride the trail which is about 8 miles long. Has a small water park area that is for Little children as well as three play areas. It'd a great place to have an event or just to visit on a nice day. It also has public bathrooms and a vending machine to buy drinks. Would recommend a visit here if you don't have much else or are looking to be out doors
  • INDIAN SPRINGS WEDDING INFORMATION - KOSHER FOOD ____________________________________________ While it says that Kosch catering is their exclusive caterer, I spoke with the park superintendant about the legal requirement to accomodate religiously required food restrictions - ie, kosher or halal. After that conversation, I was told that a kosher caterer (or, presumably, halal food) would be allowed into the Environmental Discovery Center at Indian Springs. If you're given a hard time about this, I would either contact the superintendant and explain the issue (it's illegal not to accomodate people because of their religion due to Title II of the Civil Rights Act), and if you still have trouble, contact the Michigan Department of Civil RIghts - they were very helpful, immediately affirmed that it was a civil rights violation for kosher food to not be allowed, and within a few hours the problem was resolved.
  • The only part of the Metropark that I have been to is the Discovery building for a wedding reception. At first my expectations were set fairly low thinking this is a metropark not exactly known for weddings .... but this was not the case. This venue was AMAZING, great setup very clean and elegant and yet simple, food was very good and well prepared. The venue was able to fit approx 120 people comfortably and I would say it could fit 130 - 150 max. GREAT VENUE!!!
  • It was beautiful, vast and green. The area was well maintained and the center had a fun science element to it. I was there for a wedding and so will be recommending for any events you might have to plan, but it is also a nice place to walk. Downside: cost to enter with your car.
  • Not much to do, the splash pad seems to be past its prime, alot of the sprinklers where not working. Nice Park to hike, but no beaches. The pond area was Something special, but the kids didn't like it as much as the adults..
