  • We loved this forest preserve. There were nice trails, lakes and beautiful scenery. You can rent kayaks there as well. They have a really nice archery range which was an unexpected surprise. My family had a relaxing and peaceful picnic and it's the perfect place to unwind
  • Has everything you need from a quick and lazy family (or work) gatherings. Affordable boating options (though there is always wait), multiple picnic areas / shelters, walking trails, fishing and even a small hill for snow slides
  • Beautiful preserve. Nice boat rentals. Canoe, motorized, and row boats
  • Beautiful scenery and lake. Great spot for a sunset walk or run!
  • Great place to send time in the outdoors. Many miles of trails. One of the last few spots in the area with crushed limestone.
