Must see · Gift & Specialty Shop · Shopping
Vermont Country Store offers old-fashioned and hard-to-find items, from homemade jams and cola syrups to flannel pajamas and Raggedy Ann dolls. Decorate your house in a rustic style with warm and cozy furnishings from the shop. Get a wooden cuckoo clock, a candlestick phone, English decorative pillows and teapots, and a rocking chair. Or furnish a whole room in the style of the Peanuts comic strip. Find classic American specialties to prepare a traditional meal, and purchase old-time favorite sweets and snacks. Look for presents and souvenirs, such as table games and vintage toys. To plan Weston vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

  • We always enjoy stopping at the Vermont Country Store when we are in VT. We usually find something that we can't seem to be without- however, and this is the only "however"- a year ago I found a rack....  more »
  • One of the items I ordered came quickly and I was satisfied with. The next item was overpriced for the quality. I waited for weeks for the other two items, never heard anything. I checked on them and....  more »

  • Both stores and the mail order are all wonderful! We go up there a few times a year. The products are such fun and such high quality. When I was a teen I was obsessed with Lemon Up shampoo, and couldn’t believe it when I saw it in the store! This place has something for everyone, and makes for an excellent day trip for everyone living in New England.
  • A pretty cool place if you like the old times look of things, the store is authentic and truly unique with old wooden plank floor boards and antiques spread all throughout the store. You can find pretty much anything in the store within reason. They’ve candy priced at a cent, homemade fudge, authentic maple syrup, store made cheeses, salsas, beers, toys, clothes, and even perfumes. It was pretty fun experience and would definitely go again. Just expect to spend some money as a lot of it seems extremely overpriced.
  • Talk about flashbacks from childhood! It was amazing to see so much stuff from when I was a kid. They also have all their cheeses and dips for sample before you buy. Employees are so friendly and helpful! I'm so glad I went!
  • Interesting place filled with things from days gone by to current. Very charming & the cheese was WONDERFUL & I tried maple donut that was perfection. Good thing I live in TN.
  • Quaint shoppe with ample parking to the rear. Not completely handicapped accessible as the old floors are uneven and there are several short sets of stairs between rooms. Wide selection of old fashioned, hard to find kitchen items. Time honored clothing and Vermont made items. Best of all are the sample tasting stations for jams, cheese, dips, maple syrup, cider vinegar and cheesecake mixes-- try enough and you won't need lunch!
