Wachusett Brewing Company, Westminster

Wachusett Brewing Company was founded in 1994 by 3 Massachusetts college buddies who developed a significant appreciation for craft beer during their adventures of biking, canoeing and hiking around New England. Armed with a “we can do this” attitude, the three cast off from their careers in engineering and biology to pursue their passion to make great beer.

Today, Wachusett has grown to become one of the largest breweries in Northeast with a diverse and award-winning portfolio of ales and lagers that are still made with the same “we can do this” attitude that started the brewery over 20 years ago.

Come visit us at The Tap Barn & Brew Yard located at our brewery in Westminster MA to learn more about our story and sample our wide variety of beers. We hope to see you soon!

  • My wife and I have been to this place a few times along with some friends and it is a must brewery to go to. Family friendly, great beer, food is great, atmosphere is fun, great layout outside at...  more »
  • Don’t bother going if you have small children. They only have 2 high chairs and a changing table that is 4ft high on the wall. Absolutely not to code and difficult to change a small child. It’s a...  more »

  • We had only been here once before but stopped by after a recent expansion, and it is an amazing space. Food was good (fries were cooked perfectly), beer selection is great, and very fun place to hang out. Great for dogs!
  • We hadn't stopped in for years. The space has changed dramatically ... and all for the better. There are many spaces to enjoy your beer and some food. Some indoors. Some outdoors. A very inviting fire-pit area and the Airstream bar is very cool.
  • Love love The WaWa Brewery, new great drinks and beers, food rocks, good service, love the people/bands that play there. Can not wait until the barn is done!
  • How about telling people you were closed on the Fourth of July. I checked the website, the Facebook entry AND called the Brew yard. None of them mentioned that you were closed. So I drove twenty minutes out of my way. Don't tell me that you couldn't plan in advance. You just didn't care. Thanks for your indifference to your customer. PS. The phrase, "the Fourth of July may affect hours" is a weasel word salad. You can do better than that. It's a shame because you can be good.
  • I saw stick figure there last night. Amazing time! The only thing i can say is that you need more trash cans. There was cups and cans all over the ground
