  • This was my favorite beach in Westerly. Not as crowded as others (because parking is impossible and far from the beach). Shorebirds and dunes and just lovely, especially around sunset when there are f...  more »
  • This is easily one of the most beautiful beaches in New England. Wonderful views of Watch Hill and Fishers Island sound. Parking may be at a premium so get there early.
  • By late August, the crowds are small enough that there is plenty of room for you to stake out a spot on the beach (which is on the ocean side of the Point, with views that can't be beat). On the cove ...  more »

  • Beautiful secluded beach away from the crowds. Water was clear and clean. Lots of area to explore and beautiful views. Free 2 hour parking on the street in watch hill or pay $35-$40 to park in a lot. It's a bit of a walk to get on the beach but worth it. No rest rooms close so be prepared.
  • Best sunset beach in Rhode Island! You have to walk all the way out to the point and sit on the rocks for the best views. Bring a flashlight because you will be walking back in the dark. But it is totally worth it!
  • Be careful as there is no parking facility and local people will charge 40 USD for allowing to park your car. Also there is a fee to enter the beach. The place is beautiful but not having the facilities that other beach has (parking and restrooms) make this spot not worth it.
  • A nice quiet beach. Access to both sides. Ocean and sound.
  • This is an amazing beach in Rhode Island and outstanding natural area. I only go in the off-season when parking is easier, dogs are allowed on the beach, and when it is less busy. It makes for an awesome winter walk. The beach is super clean and the waves are pretty dramatic. The fort at the end is hard to get to and really not worth looking for it. Watch out for ticks when passing by the dune grass on your way to the beach.
