Lambert's Cove Beach, West Tisbury
(4.5/5 based on 35+ reviews on the web)
Nestled in a Caribbean-like cove, Lambert's Cove Beach is known for its soft sand and its strip of clear, shallow water. The quiet beach offers plenty of space due to the fact that it is reserved for residents only. You need to acquire parking and beach permits if you wish to stay at the beach, and you can do that only if you have a signed lease in the town. However, you can visit the beach after regular hours and even bring a pet. The temperature of the water rises as summer progresses. By using our West Tisbury vacation route planner, you can arrange your visit to Lambert's Cove Beach and other attractions in West Tisbury.

  • One of the most beautiful and scenic areas on the Vineyard. A required spot to visit if you are spending any time on the island.
  • Peaceful in September. Gentle waves and pure sand. We watched the albacore jumping just off shore. Easy walk from lot.
  • This is one of my all time favorite beaches in the entire world. You begin by walking through the woods on this sand covered path and just when you think you are never going to find the beach you pop ...  more »
