United States Military Academy, West Point
(4.6/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
A visit to United States Military Academy lends an insight into the lives of young cadets and educates visitors on the history of West Point. Because much of the campus is off-limits to unauthorized visitors, you'll have to take a bus tour to see the grounds. As part of the tour, you'll be driven around the facility with a docent instructing you on the school's history and its students. If you don't have enough time for the bus tour, you can still visit the small museum in the visitor center to get a taste for academy life. Visit Trophy Point to see the academy's collection of trophy cannons and for a view of the Hudson River. Add United States Military Academy to your West Point travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our West Point tourist route planner.
