  • Is this really a golf course? Hard to say given the State of the fairways it looks that have bunkers because almost no grass but sand it's unplayable, ok it's not expensive but even free I good not, bunker and green are more or less ok, driving range ok...

  • This once great course is TERRIBLE!!! I used to play this course 15 to 20 years ago and absolutely loved it because it was very well maintained. I played this course last Wed. Club house attendant told us that they had lost their sprinkler system but that the greens were in very good shape. Yes, the greens were fine, but the rest of the course was a dried pasture sand box. Not the course I remember playing years ago. Paid $44.00...could only stand to play 9, asked for a refund and of course was rejected!
  • Coarse is in average condition, not as bad as some of the reviews. Fairways could use work, but greens and tees aren't bad. People are very nice here and there are snacks and beer at the 10th hole. Prices are good and we didn't have a problem getting a Sunday am tee time. We liked it.
  • I’ve been coming here for about two years, and unfortunately the course just is no longer maintained to the point I need to go elsewhere. Fairways are dead/ have sand in the middle. Check out other courses. Good for a cheap round during high season, but that’s it.
  • NEVER have I seen it in this condition. The greens are OK but the fairways have not been watered since who knows when. The deterioration began 7-8 years ago when Mark McCumber was hired to redesign it, and has continued unabated ever since. that they have the nerve to charge ANY money to play it is absurd. Fairways are sand and straw as can be seen in the photos. Very sad place for a course rich in history and tradition. Good Lord, this place used to be on the Tour!!!! Avoid!!! Buyer Beware!!!
  • This golf course is very dry. The "grass" seems to be mostly dead. They only exception is the actual greens, they appear to be alive. There are actual sand traps in the course and then there are all of the out of bounds areas which are all sand and then there are patches in the fairway that are sand but are not bunkers. Overall not a bad course just wish they would water the grass more to keep it alive.
