  • Good for kids of all ages: there is a classic shadow room and hurricane chamber for the kids, and for the smaller kids a great play river that you can build dams for; for the older kids there are brai...  more »

  • An affordable science center and aquarium. We checked out the astronaut exhibit which goes until the end of April. Very cool experience to learn about training to be in space, some physics lessons in zero gravity and a virtual rocket launch. The aquarium is interesting especially the interactive features relating to South Florida habitats and animals. There's also a discovery hall will many science experiments to interact with. An A in science gets your child free admission.
  • I was there on 1/13/18 to take my 6year old son to the astronaut exhibit and although it was a modestly sized exhibit, my son enjoyed every square inch of it. I was engaging and fun for him. He loved all the interactive displays. We also watched a show in the planetarium and it was nice. I like the fact that we were able to leave the museum for lunch and could re-enter using our receipt. Information desk staff were very friendly and all provided service with a genuine smile. We really enjoyed our day visiting there and it made my son very happy. I recommend!
  • The kids and I really enjoyed the museum. It was a lot of fun as we've been there a couple times and it's nice to see the improvements they are making as well. Great place to spend the day. The planetarium has shows almost every hour, and there are special events for all age groups. The exhibits are changed regularly and now there is a butterfly garden.
  • Cute place if your local but not an hour drive. The fish tanks aren't completely clean. The bigger fish don't have space to swim around not much to do for the kids aside from hall of discovery and it's only for 6 years and younger. 2 areas are movies which I can do at home. Not recommended.
  • Last time we were there we saw the bodies exhibit(real human cadavers preserved), which was awesome. Got to see cool spots on the sun in their solarium.
