Palm Beach Outlets is a shopping mall in West Palm Beach, Florida. Opened on February 14, 2014, it was developed on the site of the demolished Palm Beach Mall in 2013 and 2014.Opened in 1967 as Palm Beach Mall, it was the ninth climate-controlled mall developed in Florida. Despite clear visibility from Interstate 95 and two major renovations, strong competition from newer shopping destinations, high area crime rates, and ultimately tentative speculation on redevelopment, the shopping center was perceived as a dead mall, and closed in early 2010. Three stores remained open until 2013: J. C. Penney and George's Music which had outdoor entrances, and a Firestone outparcel.HistoryPalm Beach Mall early yearsWhen the mall originally opened on October 26, 1967, it was touted by its developer, the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, as the largest mall in the Southeastern United States. The founding anchors included J.C. Penney's, which moved from its historic store downtown on Clematis Street about three miles (5 km) southeast, Jordan Marsh and Richards. By the end of the decade, the mall also featured Walgreens, Lerner Shops, Food Fair, Woolworth, and The Mall Cinema 1-2-3-4 quadraplex.

  • Big huge outlet also for us standards with many sports brands. Easily accessible, large car park. Indeed, few restaurants.

  • Somewhat new, this place is large, bring walking shoes cause there's a lot of stores to be visited. From one end to the other, you have a vast selection of stores at your disposal and from shoes to housewares, you will find whatever it is you're looking for, and if not, maybe you didn't look hard enough (or you're just tired from walking the long distance). They have a small food court (subway, Chinese food and Sabarro pizza) but the inside has plenty of seating and updated restrooms. They have auntie Anne's and a cinnamon but at the opposite side of the building (more like behind the food court side, the end towards Dress barn). There's also a Jerky place specializing in exotic meats and they have the regular beef. The owner is very knowledgeable and helps explain the different samples/flavors they have. If you enjoy shopping and/or just want to window shop, this is the place to visit. Plenty to do and see, the prices are decent, very favorable (to some degree), better than their normal retail counterparts. I hope you enjoy the visit!
  • One of the better outlet malls around. It has a cool outdoor gallery feel and not super crowded with thrust and locals. I usually have a pleasant experience there and prefer it over sawgrass or dolphin malls any day. Has the stores I usually shop in, lots of parking and the big plus is the whole foods market next door with additional stores.
  • So many options there's something for everyone! Some stores aren't true "outlets" as they sell products with no flaws and/or price drops. However, the majority offer steep values. Also their food offerings have gotten much better; when they first opened it had just a few obscure places inside. There are also several sit-down restaurants in the area.
  • Stopped by before it opened. Clean bathrooms, and the manager gave us a few discount coupons. My wife and I both scored new sports shoes at 50% off. Very large facility, with ample parking. Not an enclosed mall, but stores arranged along avenues. Train for the kids.
  • Def like the outlets. Laid out well. Every shop you could need. Easy food options as well.
