Palm Beach Outlets is a shopping mall in West Palm Beach, Florida. Opened on February 14, 2014, it was developed on the site of the demolished Palm Beach Mall in 2013 and 2014.Opened in 1967 as Palm Beach Mall, it was the ninth climate-controlled mall developed in Florida. Despite clear visibility from Interstate 95 and two major renovations, strong competition from newer shopping destinations, high area crime rates, and ultimately tentative speculation on redevelopment, the shopping center was perceived as a dead mall, and closed in early 2010. Three stores remained open until 2013: J. C. Penney and George's Music which had outdoor entrances, and a Firestone outparcel.HistoryPalm Beach Mall early yearsWhen the mall originally opened on October 26, 1967, it was touted by its developer, the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, as the largest mall in the Southeastern United States. The founding anchors included J.C. Penney's, which moved from its historic store downtown on Clematis Street about three miles (5 km) southeast, Jordan Marsh and Richards. By the end of the decade, the mall also featured Walgreens, Lerner Shops, Food Fair, Woolworth, and The Mall Cinema 1-2-3-4 quadraplex.

  • I had some time to kill with my teenage daughter in West Palm Beach. I enjoyed the great number of shops. Clean, safe, and everything you need.
  • This is not what you should classify as an outlet more like an outdoor mall save your money and go to a real outlet this place is mall pricing
  • This place is beautiful, white stone structured buildings with canopy above so no sun or rain to ruin shopping. Decent prices, weekends have promotion tents with free giveaways and raffles. Very nice place to shop or to discuss current events over coffee.
  • Great deals! Nice clean atmosphere. Friendly service and clean. Plenty of parking. Open air so bring an umbrella just in case of rain.
  • The outlets is the best the place to shop in Palm Beach. The prices are the same with any other outlets in Florida. With no lines and no hassle like the outlets in Orlando. Good security driving in Parking Lot and walking inside the outlet.
  • Great outlet mall with a good variety of stores. Didn't get to spend much time there since we arrived near closing, but would definitely go back without hesitation!
  • Palm Beach Outlets has a great variety of businesses. I shop in Whole Foods, PetSmart, Carters, have used Avalon's nail care center, Bed, Bath & Beyond, First Watch, Pei Wei and several other shops and restaurants. It is wonderful to park in one place and do all my shopping while the car waits for me. Security is very visible, their clearly marked cars go round and round the shopping center.
