  • I visited Mounts garden with my friend in Florida on March 24th 2018. There was an Art exhibit , so the entrance fee was raised from $5.00 to $15.00. The art exhibit consisted of less than ten sculptures made of colorful paper and other materials glued together to make sea creatures. Very distasteful. The hike of the entrance fee was too big for such a pitiful Art show. The botanical garden does not have any thing to call it botanical. Most plants look very old and looking like they're about to die. No organization of the plants species. Dry branches and leaves all over the gardens. It was messy and lacks a lot of care.
  • This place has a ton of potential. When I went they had a “Washed Ashore Exhibit” going on which was inspiring and made it a 3 star experience. But I give it 2 stars because if they hadn’t had the exhibit it wouldn’t have been as pleasant. The herb section is awesome though with a wonderful variety of ancient herbs. With the right leadership they can easily improve the overall quality of the experience. It isn’t well maintained, and for the last 15 minutes prior to closing they have guys go around on a golf cart blowing a horn and yelling “the park is getting ready to close” the entire 15 minutes, which was obnoxious and killed the vibe. They even approached me with 10 minutes left and asked me to start heading towards the exit, which irritated me. I was well aware the park closed as 4 and the park wasn’t that big, so it’s not like it takes 20 minutes to get the the front, maybe 5 if that. $15 admission is overpriced for the current conditions of the gardens, if they get there ish together I wouldn’t mind revisiting and paying the $15. ✌🏻
  • I really like this place because you can connect yourself with different naturals stuff, you would breathe fresh air, make a good hiking, and enjoy different kinds of plants and trees. If you want to take 5 minutes out off the city and the pollution this place is perfect. It’s a public place, actually it’s no perfect but you can have a lot of fun.
  • A "must" visit whenever I'm in the area. Always something new to see. This time it was a new wetlands area and an exhibition created by Washed Ashore that will make you think about what we're doing to the world's oceans. Be sure to bring a camera along. It's not just flowers. There are themed areas throughout the gardens, a great butterfly garden and enough trees to make you feel like you're in an arboretum.
  • It was interesting. However a lot of stuff may have been out of season... it is winter. So a lot of trees looked dead, but they were not. It was pretty noisy due to the close proximity to the airport. The place is kept very very nice. The sculptures were great and we enjoyed them. We were charged $15 a person because of the exhibit which I thought was a little high but it's going to a good place so we didn't mind!
