  • Family of four (kids ages 9,12) stopped here for a visit. It's amazing that they have all of these cool animals in such a small, residential area. Besides it being incredibly hot (which they had nothi...  more »

  • I heard about this place from a friend. I have been to wildlife tours in the past so I anticipated the tour being okay. But it was amazing. We had Kara as a tour guide and the amount of knowledge she has on each animal, how she actually knows every animals name, was amazing. She made the tour as good as it was. I would recommend this place to anyone and i would absolutely go back!
  • Absolutely fantastic! Have you ever gone to a zoo and thought "Man. I would love to pet that thing." WELL HERE YOU CAN! McCarthy's has been around for over 30 years rehabilitating and saving exotic wildlife. They provide tours and encourage interaction with the animals. The entrance fee might feel a little steep; but it is also a donation to allow them to continue to provide a home for every aviary, feline, and reptile there. Well worth every cent. Brie was our tour guide. She was positive, articulate, and knowledgeable. Instant favorite. LOVE HER.
  • We loved this place- it was perfect for our 6 and 9 year old boys. We were able to get so close to the animals and touch some. The guides seem very dedicated and gave wonderful tours. They seem to take fabulous care of the animals and love them very much.
  • If you are planning a trip to Palm Beach County this is a place you won't want to miss, but you must have a reservation. They only take small groups in to see the animals at any one time. You're up close and personal with all the wildlife, and the guides share interesting stories about each animal in the refuge.
  • Great guides and close to the animals. You even get to hold some. We loved it. Better than a zoo.
