  • Nothing like it in the U.S.A. I have been to many national parks in the U.S.A. and there is nothing like it. Some of the views and some of the hikes are unmatched. You got to see it to believe it. Now, the hikes are not exactly easy because they are up the side of a mountain, so you have to be in some kind of condition to take a hike, but if you can, take a hike. This place is incredible and beautiful. Yes, it is worth going to, and it not down the street from New York City. But it worth going to wherever you are from.. And if you cannot hike, the road through the park takes you to many of the most beautiful places in the park.. Watch out for the wild animals. I almost ran into a mountain goat a couple of times. And a couple of them posed for pictures. Enjoy..Oh, if you camp out at one of the campsites, be sure to bring warm sleeping bags and clothes. Yes it will get cold at night ...even in August.
  • The best way to see the going to the sun road is to get one of the coveted passes. I was worried the park would be bumper to bumper but due to the passes, we were able to pull off on most areas we wanted to. Logan’s pass visitor’s center parking lot was very difficult to find a parking spot mid day. You have to keep driving around until someone leaves. After doing research online, I thought the only way to get on the going to the sun road was with this pass. But actually you can go at 6am or at 5pm without the pass. People in our group went at 5pm and said it was very busy. Currently you have to wear a mask in the gift shops and they are only letting a certain number in at a time. But the wait wasn’t too long. Note: I bought a going to the sun road map which only has information about the road. The points of interest are marked/numbered on the map but NOT the road. So be sure to use your trip meter. The map does not include any side streets either.
  • Great place. Such a beautiful national park. Some great hikes for all levels. Various turn offs on the Highway to the Sun road. It is busy, you do need a ticket. I would either get up and out early or late in the day.
  • I could spend a whole month in glacier and not run out of things to do or see. My one year old had so much fun hiking and playing in the lake. You don't lack for amazing photo ops, diverse hikes, and beautiful drives
  • Extraordinarily gorgeous!! I love this place. It’s magical! You just need to see and experience it for yourself. No words (or even pictures) could do it justice. Put it on your bucket list 😀
