  • The kids love it here! You can easily spend an entire day here between the beautiful walking trail, the animals, and the bee house. This is an excellent picnic spot as well. If you have time, you can watch the fields, which are filled with butterflies in the summer. The staff treats you like family, and if you're a regular they notice. Such a lovely atmosphere, you can't beat it!
  • I was blown away by Kline creek farm. 200 acres of farm the is beautifully maintain by "1800 century workers" who dress the part. I recommend taking your kids-they always have something going on and all the farmers are very informative and friendly. If you have a chance talk to John the volunteer he knows so much! They have horses, sheep, bees and cows. The sheep are super friendly especially 16-10!
  • Wow! I can't compliment this place enough. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, kind to our children. The kids loved their time out there and cried when it was time to go. A great FREE working farm museum. What a jewel of a time capsule of 1890s Illinois farm. Felt like I was on the set of Little House on the Prairie.
  • This place has history and beauty. Come for an hour or a day.
  • Easily accessible farm experience. The volunteers and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Good for all ages and free.
