  • Beautiful park! Its really interesting to visit the town and home where Herbert Hoover was born. I was surprised by his small beginnings, but also loved his little house and garden. My husband and I also spent the day just hanging out in the surrounding town, which had a farmers market. Great tourist destination.
  • Very interesting with beautiful displays and clearly understood story of President Hoover's life, including his presidency. The grounds are impeccable and at the beautifully groomed area around his grave you are able to look across the vast lawn and in the distance see the tiny home where he was born. Very beautiful, interesting, and sobering.
  • Great presidential library. If you're passing through it is inexpensive to enter and you can spend as much or as little time as you like. Worth the stop!
  • I loved visiting the Hoover Museum! It was fantastic. And the price of admission was actually fair. The gift shop was a little pricey but that didn't stop me. The man at the ticket counter was very friendly, and we had an enjoyable time. They also had an exhibit of Route 66 that was interesting.
  • It's not often when traveling cross county you have quick access to a National Historic Site. Stop in, walk around, get a bite to eat downtown. Amazing to find out Hoover left town with 2 dimes sewn into his clothes.
