  • Arrived early with my family on a Saturday. We rented a cabana (best purchase EVER!!) and from 10am to about 1pm, had an amazing time! After that time, it seemed like all hell broke loose! It got insa...  more »
  • Definitely a great place to take kids all seasons. Be prepared for overcrowding and people without manners ( not the staff). Good for kids of all ages  more »
  • First let me start by saying that as far as parking goes this place gets a 10. But then I'm from New York City so that's saying a lot. When you first go in if you don't have to wait almost an hour to ...  more »
  • A fast food playland has more to offer in terms of fun and cleanliness than this place. Giving this lonely star was even too much. The star should be in the negative category, NOT the positive. Firstly, I read the comments on this review page before I went. Regardless, I wanted to give them I chance. Only 5 minutes after arrival, I regret even considering coming to this trash-hole. First, this must be a hot destination for all of the city folks cause the lot was packed with school buses... ON A SATURDAY!!! I had to spend 15 minutes driving around to find a parking spot. The line to get in took over 45 minutes. Meanwhile, I saw the attendant break up a fight with someone in the front of the line. Once I got in, the place smelled like 40% chlorine, 15% body odor, and 35% fast food. The lines stink, the food stinks, the staff stinks, and the water was hotter than the air temperature. I heard some kids jumping out of the wave pool in front of me due to the water being so unexpectedly hot. I don't know what kind of fools listen to the radio ads, but for the love of the god and all that is holy, why would any sane individual want to come here? I know I am probably going to get the same generic response from the company, but come on. You have seen have seen many similar comments and it appears nothing has changed. It is really a shame nothing has (or likely will) be done. EDIT: I have edited my constructive response for you by removing the s-word from my comment with the word "stinks". Because obviously, your managers must not be of age to hear or read the truth. That is the absolute worst accuse for not sharing a comment that I have ever heard.
  • Great place to have a party for your kids. They do an amazing job. The party room has disco lights. The food is good according to the kids. The play area has a party section where you store your items in a big bin for your party. This also helps kids to find they're adults after they have gone and played. They do have a gluten free pizza option. If you have food allergies beyond gluten you can bring a doctor's note so you can have a small food bag for yourself. There's a bar for those adults who'd like to kick back and relax. The place is very hot and steamy inside so make sure you hydrate with plenty of water before and after your visit.
  • I highly recommend purchasing your tickets online. We paid $25 per ticket when you order online versus $37 per ticket for the walk up price. This indoor and outdoor water park may be small. However you get a great value for the money. The food may be a little pricey but the quality was better than expected. I was also impressed with all the lifeguards. Safety appears to be a big concern for Sahara Sam's.
  • Way too crowded on a weekend. Long 59 minute delays while waiting to get on a slide. Water on all of the rides were not refreshing because the temperature was too warm. Also, the concession stands were long due to overcrowding and limited staffing. It shouldn't take 45 minutes to purchase a drink! There should be stationery freshwater fountains nearby for the expensive price you pay for admission. This was my first time at this park. We were going to purchase season passes. However, we will be investing in something more enjoyable and relaxing rather than fighting crowds to get in the warm/hot water on a 99 degree day.
  • For starters, I recommend purchasing your tickets online, you see about a $10 savings vs. if you walk up to the counter and purchase there. Went on Labor Day, wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. Arcade was better than I expected. Had a good time, and while the food was the expected up charged cost for a place like this ($4 for a water bottle), the made-to-order food was pretty good. Could be cleaner. Negatives: Some staff working the counters are rude; the employee who helped at the front counter acted like we were disturbing her, and practically tossed the wristbands over to us. Employee who took my order at the counter couldn't be bothered, we had to repeat our order countless times because she would zone out. Two pleasant encounters we had: the bartender was great, he seemed to be enjoying his job, and the employee who took my key at the end of the day was wonderful! While the whole place could be cleaner, I have to mention the bathrooms. These were gross at best, there definitely should have an employee in there at all times. There was a horrendous s**t smell from the minute I walked in. Went in to change, and someone must have missed the toilet, and the employee was in the stall next to that one cleaning, rather than taking care of that one (or at least closing the door to that stall). The place used an excessive amount of chlorine for an indoor water park without ventilation (they eventually opened the windows in the ceiling, although it didn't do much). Just walking into the place, my eyes began burning. Smell of chlorine lasted in my nose for 2 days after.
