  • This place is amazing to see. It was huge and unbelievable. My father grow up in the surrounding area and wanted to see it. It was my first time there. Just amazing
  • Pretty amazing place. The time it must have taken design and build. Rocks and shells from all over the world. Wondered around taking photos for a couple hours. Glad we stopped.
  • The Grotto is one of the most beautiful places you can go and see. My family loved it, we had so much fun...we will try hard to go back next year. It's a must see!

  • Quiet, peaceful, and near nothing but small town Iowa. Truly the middle of nowhere, but take the time to visit. Beautiful place to visit just for the architecture. Perfect place for a pilgrimage if you do such things.
  • This is a beautiful and moving grotto with a story of the Lord's healing as a history. The grotto has the stations of the cross and one may meditate and pray at each of them. I took the tour which is very good and there is a nice gift shop across the street.
  • My grandparents took me and my brother here when we were young. I was just recently reminded of the Grotto because of a snapchat article of unique places in every State. I'd love to visit again and take my son when he's old enough to comprehend the amazing wonder that this is.
  • Beautiful, peaceful, quiet, awe-inspiring. This place is worth a visit!
  • A great place to go with the family. It is a beautifully constructed (and upkept) grotto covered in gems and stones from around the world. The grotto's images portray the story of the life of Christ. It is by donation, so no payment required, and there is a gift shop and museum as well.
