  • It is not too far away from Phoenix. We go there for fishing for catfish, along with a few other species. We camp there, and the biggest thing for me is that they have clean bathrooms and showers. The rangers there are supper friendly and helpful. You can find many places to fish from the bank. It is never too crowded. But I have not been on a holiday weekend.
  • Great campground! Space for RVs, tents, but also has cabins with A/C units. Bathrooms properly cleaned every day. Washer and dryer room is great and A/Ced. Very nice folks that live in the RV park all year round. I was in town for the Air Force graduation ceremony. Discounts available for military members and families. It was 15 minutes from base, and absolutely beautiful. Many of the other campgrounds by the base are right next to the highway, poorly cleaned, and overcrowded. This campground had fields (with cows!), a river, beautiful trees, and deer roaming all over. It was beautifully shaded. The owners took me around in their golf cart for a tour of the property and it was absolutely gorgeous. I can't say enough good things about this facility.
  • Loved the wild donkeys. They might keep you awake, but I liked the sound of them at night. All the campsites are not marked which was frustrating but once we were settled in section e we were pleased with the view. Fairly quiet but a lot of generators. Very clean and well maintained. Friendly ranger.
  • Very clean park. They have full hookups. No Verizon signal unless you go the first set of campsites on the way in. We stayed for 4 days and the only noise were the wild burrows that roam the grounds at night. Cleanest bathrooms I haver seen at a campground.
  • First time here and we had a great time. Very clean. We were actually surprised how clean the restrooms were. We can't wait to go back and stay in the cabins.
