  • The Apple Century ride always rides through this park, and often begins and ends here. Beautiful grassy expanses, wading in the Columbia is possible during low water, and the views are wonderful.  more »
  • We have rode bikes here before but this time we just walked around and looked at the sculptures. Very enjoyable and close to our hotel.  more »
  • This is a gem in Wenatchee. The park sits right on the Columbia River and has several whimsical art pieces scattered throughout, a boat launch for those of you who wish to hit the river, a train ride ...  more »

  • A beautiful park on the Apple Capital Loop Trail with free boat launch access. Built and operated by Chelan County PUD. To the south of the park and especially on summer nights, it's an area where transient people hang out. Security monitors the area but I'd recommend traveling in a group or with a means of protection.
  • Lots of variation along this 10 mile loop. Everything from semi-private sitting spots to look out at an ever changing river view to windswept bluffs far from the well kept, pretty city parks.
  • Great place to walk and visit with friends.
  • Riverfront Park is one of several very nice ones in the local river loop, and it pretty well covers the bases that you'd expect for "small river-front park" as the name implies. It kind of ends up as an adjunct to the larger Walla Walla Point Park that's just a few blocks (and conveniently connected by the loop trail) north. Riverfront's claim to fame is the small-gauge railroad that operates in the park on special occasions, usually holidays. The train has fallen somewhat into disrepair in the last few years, but the local club is making a determined effort to put it right. Even with a portion of its track unusable, it makes a really fun ride for kids on a summer afternoon, definitely worth the dollar ticket. There are also some art installations, and superb views of the river and east side bluffs.
  • Great park right along the river lots of artist and bike riders on the apple capital trail very alive nice setting.
