  • This is a huge campground and as far as we could find, almost all of the camp sites were in the sun. The one that we stayed at was large and there was a nice playground a short walk away. We did not.....  more »
  • We drove thru the park when visiting the area in mid-May. Due to the time of year, there weren't many campers, but it certainly is a large park. I don't believe the Nature Center was open yet ~ but....  more »
  • In July, it was 55 degrees. Not too shabby when you’re trying to dodge the heat and humidity. From the Nature Center, you may hike 1.3 miles on well-maintained trails to view the glacial potholes...  more »

  • Went camping here for labor day weekend and had a wonderful time. The park overall is very well kept. All the area's are mowed and debris free. They have a good mix of site's to choose from. Wooded, water side, open fields, and even a few cabins and cottages. The park offers plenty of water access for boating and water sports. My family and friends will definitely be returning here for a more extended stay.
  • One of many beautiful parks in the 1000 islands. Very open and spacious. It has lots of activities for everyone to do from the youngest to the oldest. They also have a nature center there with many hiking trails to enjoy. Many other things to do there. You can watch beautiful sunsets from your camp site.
  • Beautiful trails. The park maps here are the best maps I've ever seen, they give an in depth description of each trail so you know exactly what to expect. People with limited mobility or looking for a casual stroll can avoid the more strenuous paths by reading the map! Beautiful spot to set up a hammock for an afternoon or spend some time in the water. Theres also a nature center and butterfly house. I go here every summer ♡
  • What a beautiful place! Park’s staffs have been also amazing. Thank you Steve for doing a quick fix on my RV so we can come home safely. A week stay has created lifetime memory for my kids! I would highly suggest renting a boat to enjoy the beauty around thousand Islands. If you like fishing, consider charter fishing. Lake of the Isles area has decent amount of northern pike. And a lot of smallmouth bass all around St Lawrence river.
  • Great state park! Wooded electric only campsites in C loop seem very close together. Although, they claim a "tent" or camper site. C57 is more of a camper site. We had to stake out tent right next to the road for the level ground. Park is well spread out, but need to have transport to get to destinations in the park. Closest grocery store is on the mainland. Camp store is great and the staff are terrific!
