  • The Salmon River Trail is always a great hike. It gets a little busy on the weekends. I try to go early or on the weekdays. Great for weekday backpacking. Perfect hike for friendly off leash Pups.
  • Old growth forest along a very pretty river. The trails are not too strenuous, and if you look around after passing the lookout there are falls you can drop down to. Be advised, the off trail falls are dangerous to get to, but not that difficult of a scramble for an experienced hiker. New hikers should be fine as well, just exercise caution as the slopes are steep followed by a cliff, and a boulder strewn riverbed below... a very beautiful river.
  • Love this trail right by the river. Pack a lunch and enjoy the rushing water
  • Easy trail with lots to see and enjoy
  • Hiked the whole trail today. It was amazing. Gonna have to go again in late spring to see the flowers i read about when i looked this place up :)
