  • we enjoyed the course itself, the views are spectacular, and the round of golf was only $30.00. but the fairways & tee boxes were torn up, the traps had no sand and it was frustrating unless you drove...  read more »
  • I have been playing this course for 15 years now and it's seen it's ups and downs through the years as it has changed hands - now owned and managed by Warrior Golf. While the conditions had deteriorat...  read more »
  • Greens are in great shape, beautiful scenery. Tired clubhouse, patched parking lot, awful cart paths. Nice driving range. Food in grill barely edible.
  • I've played the course many times over the past two seasons and am encouraged that the condition (particularly dealing with historic water management problems on low lying holes) has improved dramatically). I am still not a fan of the target golf (irons off the tee) on most of the par 4's on the front side, but the greens are good and consistent and the overall condition of the course is very good compared to others in the Asheville area right now. If Warrior would approve a budget for fixing (or eliminating some of the impossible to maintain) sand traps, it would be one of the best public courses in the area IMO.
  • Played May 2016. It is a very picturesque course with sharp grades and angles. Definitely a unique layout. First timers should play conservatively and not hit long, especially on holes where the green is not visible. Had no issues and check in was smooth. Having a course map will help. Well worth the views.
  • Great community golf course. No fine dining.
  • This is a great golf course. Staff is really the best. Greens in good conditions. Hills present plenty of challenges and the course is fun to play. I give it four stars, there is always room for improvement.
  • Course in wonderful shape. Marvellously difficult. Beautiful views all around and from the sixteenth tee the only comparable views are on some Colorado courses. I had a great day but not score-wise.
