  • Coming in from out of town and really enjoyed not only the course but also the views. This one feels like it is cut perfectly into the valley of the mountain range with plenty of big elevation change ...  more »
  • Wall to wall bent grass. Exceptional greens and fairways. Decent tee boxes but bunkers and cart paths need work. Layout is good along with the staff. A must play on everyone's list.  more »
  • What a great course with mountain views, cooler weather and well kept course. New golf carts. Club house serves meals. Great service with friendly people.  more »

  • I will be honest with you, this isn't the Reems Creek I knew before Warrior Golf took over. The sand traps need to be overhauled completely. They used to be that fine white "Columbia" sand but now they're just packed red clay, thin lies and gravel. Lots of water and mud in the traps and it hadn't rained for a few days. The cart paths will beat you up! The fairways are in really good shape and the greens rolled true. It's still a great layout that requires you to think as you play, you can't just bomb it off the Tee.
  • Pretty course with beautiful scenery. Overall good condition, greens a little on the slow side when I played but it had rained heavy the night before
  • Best golf course I have ever played on. Fantastic view and a very challenging course
  • I've played the course many times over the past two seasons and am encouraged that the condition (particularly dealing with historic water management problems on low lying holes) has improved dramatically). I am still not a fan of the target golf (irons off the tee) on most of the par 4's on the front side, but the greens are good and consistent and the overall condition of the course is very good compared to others in the Asheville area right now. If Warrior would approve a budget for fixing (or eliminating some of the impossible to maintain) sand traps, it would be one of the best public courses in the area IMO.
  • Played May 2016. It is a very picturesque course with sharp grades and angles. Definitely a unique layout. First timers should play conservatively and not hit long, especially on holes where the green is not visible. Had no issues and check in was smooth. Having a course map will help. Well worth the views.
