  • As a space buff from the time I was a kid, this place is second only to visiting Canaveral in Florida. We only had about 1/2-hour to breeze through before closing. I could have used half-a-day...  more »
  • For as small as it is there is a very nice collection of the history of aviation and General Stafford. Was interesting to see so many different authentic and replica aircraft  more »
  • I have worked in space museums for 20+ years. This is a fantastic collection and has the thoughtfulness of its designer. I truly believe this is the best collection of air and space in the region. A fantastic mix of airplanes and spacecraft. The collection is truly impressive and the new building will only add to the greatness of the facility. If you are anywhere near the museum, you have to put it on your jaw to list. Allow at least two hours to browse and 4 if you want to read.
  • We dropped in because we saw the signs on the highway advertising it, and we were NOT disappointed. Great collection of space-y things, laid out well. My family had a lot of fun checking everything out.
  • A fantastic museum with far more in it than just information about its name sake. The exhibits are extensive and very well done. They have incredible amounts of space memorabilia you might call it. Rocket engine space capsules plus airplanes etc
  • Had a fun experience here! It was a larger museum than I thought. And nice to get up close to the exhibits. Perfect!
  • This is a total surprise. This is a Smithsonian level museum. Personal items from General Stafford's private collection of air and space. Real rocket engines not fiberglass mock ups. It's worth the stop if you like air and space at all.
