  • I had no idea about this garden and my in-laws are coming here from Australia on a garden tour and this is on it so I decided to have a look. It is wonderful, easy garden in which to wander. There are many hidden gems within the garden so allow about 2 hours to really get to see everything in a leisurely manner. There is plenty of seating and it is worth it to sit for a while and just take it all in. Very peaceful spot. It is only $10 for adults and you can bring in food but it is only allowed at one of the three picnic benches. On Friday evenings during the summer, you can bring food and eat it anywhere after 5:00 p.m )but that ends on Labor Day week-end). Very peaceful, beautiful oasis - highly recommend.
  • Gorgeous, peaceful, expansive grounds to visit. I loved this place. They have a lot of diversity in the flora here; some whimsical, some exotic. They provide you with a good map so you are sure to not miss anything. The trails are well maintained. I saw butterflies, rodents, lizards, frogs, and a snake too. Very cool!
  • I have been going to Chanticleer for 20+ years. It's a beautiful place to walk around, and I also enjoy sitting down in the many lawn chairs throughout the property. Make sure to explore all the little nooks and crannies, as there is a lot to discover. Very relaxing. Great place to take pictures. Parking can be a bit of a pain in the butt. I wish it were bigger. I also wish that not as many people had discovered it over the years. I want it all to myself.
  • One of the most amazing gardens on the east coast. The gardeners are passionate skilled plants people and the property is amazing year round.
  • Amazzing unbelievable garden with unique flowers , everything is very clean. Lovely place for easy walking trip
