  • Nice park on a lake created by a dam. The park is within a pine forest and the sites are close with no little vegetation separating the sites. The best sites along the lakefront. The pake as good hike and biking trails.
  • We had a great time relaxing at the new sportsman's cabins. These are some of the nicest cabins we have stayed at in Georgia State Parks. The kitchen was decent and I really liked that they had vinyl flooring throughout the whole place. We hung out on the back porch and grilled one night we were there.
  • The park is very family friendly, serene and peaceful, you have your on private space whether it's opened shelter picnicking or enclosed shelter gathering families and friends would enjoy the occasion, the only thing I regret missing is the pool, young and old alike enjoyed the pool
  • Beautiful campground with shaded picnic areas, lake, new cabins with all amenities. Our family reunion was a success!
  • I absolutely loved camping here! The interpretive center is amazing and I loved seeing the two baby gators that lived there. Awsome Rangers that works there as well!
