  • There are several ways to enjoy Rib Mountain State Park. (1) If you do not have a park pass: You can still park in parking spots at the bottom of the mountain and climb your way up. Most people do this on Park Rd, but you can actually get a much better experience parking on Grouse Lane on the North side of the mountain. There, you can walk up the Turkey Vulture Trail and Homestead Loop. This is also the fastest way to the Quarry, which is beautiful (see my photo spheres of it). (2) If you do have a pass, drive up to the top. There are several scenic places to park, but if you go all the way to the concession stand (which you get to just after turning around to head back down) you'll be in a prime spot to jump onto any of the paths, from the easier (blue, green) paths to the longer (yellow) and more difficult (red). The hiking is great -- again, see my photos.
  • I live near by, beautiful park. Nice hike up to the park. Excellent views from atop the lookout tower. Ski resort in the winter as well, best in the area. I would give this park 5 stars but they don't offer camping anymore. Amphitheater and good hiking. Nice place to have a wedding.
  • Rib Mountain park is the best. There are many hiking trails and activities. The rocks are beautiful. The quarry trail on the back side is simply stunning. This is a great park to visit.
  • Beautiful park! Lots to do :) Can't wait to go back and see more! Glad to see the beautiful fall colors!!!
  • Surprisingly quiet state park for how beautiful it is. Would visit again.
