(4.1/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
A mountain rising 700 feet, collecting more than its share of natural snow, and facing north to foster early snowfalls and excellent late season snow. Nature’s bounty is augmented by 500 snowguns, assuring plentiful snow from November through April.

A total of 74 runs are spread over the face of this 700 foot mountain. There are acres of wide-open beginner runs. Mile-long intermediate cruising runs. 4 mogul runs, six terrain parks with dozens of hits, jumps, rails and other terrain features. Super-steep expert chutes and tree skiing glades. • Granite Peak is easy to get to (about a mile off the interstate) and reasonably priced. They often have 2 for 1 specials, or discounts after 4 pm.
