  • This park is close to my home so I frequently jog through it. You never know what wildlife you'll encounter -- deer, fox, turtles, salamanders... Good motivation to get off the couch and into nature.  more »

  • Great area for Disc Golf, if your really good- you may want to try the Silver Lake Park-18 hole course being built near by! Really tight but a really great hole at the end throwing over a valley.
  • The Frisbee Golf Courses at Fox River Park is one of the best I've played. Other people seem to think so to because the park always seems to have people playing any day of the week. Also the park is used by local high-schools as a cross country training and competition grounds, so during certain times of the year you may run into runners. The 27 holes distributed across 3 different course all offer varying degrees of difficulty offer everyone something to enjoy. Some holes offers two various buckets, adding The park is well maintained and updated. Underbrush around the courses is cleared so if you shank your through and go into the woods you will be able to find you disk. The park has also done a good job designing the park to have a good mix of open space and wooded areas. The park runs along the Fox River. The park has at least one boat launch area. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you want to play some disk golf.
