  • I came here with my family for a mini weekend vacation and I was so thankful for how accommodating the staff was to fit our "high energy/high needs/busy" group of 9 children under the age of 11 and 7 ...  more »
  • Wasn't really what we expected. Probably would've had a great time if we were around 10. It wasn't the cleanest place in the world but not filthy either. The hot tub was luke warm, the air was pretty ...  more »
  • Do not go here for a destination. If you just need a hotel for the night a pool for your kids would be great, then go. But we were sorely disappointed to find only 2 slides and a lazy river the size o...  more »

  • This place needs some management. After we paid and went to the lockers we found there was no way to open them. So I went back up to the front desk and asked about the lockers and she said, oh you have to rent those they are $5 or $7. Then said wait just a second. She kept helping people in the line. Then while there was a break and people were filling out the liability form I asked can I please get a locker. She said you will have to wait until I am done. I said if you had a sign posted or mentioned the lockers I would have paid then. Why don't you have anything posted about this. Another woman was asking about the same thing and asked to speak to a manager. The girl who was just standing there finally just threw keys on the counter. I would have no problem paying and asked if I could just give her the cash and then she ring it up. Then we tried going to the restaurant as there were other people over there only to find out they were closed and didn't open up until 5:00. We paid for the 11 to 3 session. During spring break when the place is full why would you not have food options? So we went across the street to Subway and brought the food in. Even though you weren't allowed to bring food in but you let us no other choice. The lack of supervision was so little they never even saw the food. No lifeguards n duty just a few people walking around. But I doubt they would even do anything if there was an emergency situation. For $20 to $30 a person I would expect a lot more. This was a really disappointing experience.
  • While the kids had fun, this was not really worth what I spent. The bathrooms, aka changing areas, were cold, wet, dirty and very slippery. There were no towels the entire time we were there. The tubes for the slides were also not available as people were unwilling to share. About three hours after we got there, they actually put a staff member out to take tubes and redistribute them so that everyone could enjoy the slides. They also do not allow minors in the hot tub, which was a serious disappointment for my child. If you are going to do a day trip like we did, pay for a four hour session instead of the whole day. We went for 5 hours, but one was used to go off site for lunch because the restaurant wasn't open in the water park.
  • Just wrapping up a two day stay here during a very busy time (winter break). The water is warm, the park is warm, the place is clean and the lifeguards, while young, have been very effective. If you can swing coming here a non-crazy time, do it. Our first day we had the joint almost to ourselves and it was awesome. We had a three queen suite which was clean and perfect for a two night stay. To be crystal clear, this isn't Zehnders, so if that's what you're looking for, don't come and then trash the place with a three star review. If you want a quick, water getaway that's worth the money, you've found an awesome place!
  • When we got there the girl at the water park desk thought it was more important to put away toys than acknowledge us. There were hardly any tubes to float on. There were about enough for 1/4 of the people there. They shut the water slides off about 30 min before the session ended. Have been there before and it seems to be deteriorating.
  • The kids really enjoyed themselves here. The water was very pleasant and warm. My only issue was with the lack of staff supervision. Each and every area of this water park should be monitored. This was not the case here. I saw a small child struggling in the deep end of the pool where the big slides empty into. Luckily, so did his grandma. There were some ropes in the toddler area that, if functioning properly, emit a stream of water. In this case, children were hanging and swinging from them. One child hung upside down. Had he lost his grip, he would have fallen head first into the very shallow water. Kids were taking tubes that were for the big water slides and playing with them in the toddler area. There’s hardly enough tubes in the first place. In all of the cases, someone should have intervened, but no one did. My biggest concern was when we notified staff that there were turds in the toddler pool, they did NOTHING! This place is an accident waiting to happen. I won’t even mention how unequipped to handle a large amount of hungry people the Watering Hole Restaurant was. Our experience was good though. And, we would come again!
