  • This is a cool historic little footbridge! Great views of the river (of course), the nearby train trestle, the park, and some Winslow industrial buildings. Walking on the grates didn't bother me like....  more

  • The park on the Waterville side is very nice with signs and sculptures. It needs some shade. The bridge itself is fun to walk over. And on the Winslow side you can walk up the hill to a gazebo.

  • As always a fun walk across the two cent bridge; finally added our custom engraved lock of love to it like so many others have over the years!
  • The history is neat. Definitely weird walking across the kennebec
  • Interesting historical spot. Seems like it could use some upkeep (floodlight was broken and dangling) but structurally it was sound. You can just imagine folks paying a penny to cross over to go to work, shopping, school, etc.
  • Beautiful bridge! Some maintenance needed on the exit point (front point being front street) massively squeaky, wiggly boards where the metal mesh and boards meet.
  • Mmmm get ur lock and lock ur girl there 🥰
