Lost Island Waterpark Reviews
Spent one day here, in July, with my 2 kids (10 and 12) as part of a 7-day, 7-state roadtrip. Since we had spent quite a bit of time in the car on previous day, we scheduled 1 day here, where we would... more »
Took my grandchildren to Lost Island a few weeks ago and they absolutely loved it! They can't wait to come back and visit next summer to go again! more »
This is a great activity for a family. We went 2 days in a row from opening time to closing time. There are plenty of exciting rides to occupy the time. The wave pool is a blast! more »
We went on a Sunday and thought it would be packed. There were lots of people, but the wait lines go pretty fast and there was always plenty of tubes. The slides were great for all ages. My husband and I love thrill rides and these rides gave us a good scream or two! We did order a couple of adult beverages, but I don't think there was any liquor in them- or very very little. Just a little disappointed in the drinks available. I understand it's a family place, but sometimes us adults just need a mixed drink. I do suggest wearing swim shoes around the place. The ground gets pretty hot and could hurt little kids. Even us adults said it was too hot! Overall, very pleased with our first experience here. We will definitely be back when we road trip again.
One incident: As I wish I could give zero Stars. I had watched a Disabled person walk up the stairs and was told to go back down and around but her kids were trying to tell Cole the lifeguard she has a hard time walking up and down he stairs. Cole proceeded to yell at her and her family telling them no matter what to walk around as her children where trying to explain to him that it would be painful or her and she could have walked through the gate. The party seemed pretty upset when clearly they were just asking for her to go through the gate not her children. She walked around anyway but I know afterwards I encountered her and her family they were upset but still were going to try to make the best of there day. Second incident: I was trying to talk to the grill guy about the food as he was grilling and had a terrible attitude problem. So I tried to brush it off but then when I ordered the Burger it was charred. so I just tossed it! Overall my experience with this place WAS NOT PARADISE! what a joke! Me and my Husband and kids left early due to all the poorly staffed students?/maybe Adults? we will no be coming back!
Went tonight with family and kids to do mini golf and go carts. We finished up our round of mini golf just after 8pm and then went to go pay for go karts. The staff informed us that they were done for the night, despite hours posted as 9pm closing both online and at the building. Needless to say, everyone was disappointed. The staff was in the building sitting around, having a good time and not assisting customers. Very disappointed that the night staff was not interested in making our group's experience a good one.
1 star is an understatement. If I could give zero stars I would. The staff are not trained properly to handle situations and are very rude! Management was horrible! And they ruined me and my families Fourth of July weekend. We were better off going to the dells. Don't waste your time or money.
Shade is so cheap. ADD MORE. LOTS MORE! Other than that, it's way to big and good for W-CF (lines are shorter than other large waterparks). He built it for his Birch employees, and I can't believe he makes a profit. We the people collectively thank him. But ADD SOME MORE SHADE! The hot pavement and rough pool surfaces will damage your feet.
