Cost tttooooo much and my kids didnt enjoy them self at alllll...boring
April 27 nightmares!!!!!Horrible expected!!!!! This place should have never booked no one. The hotel smell like cigarettes/ wet dirty floor in rooms . AC did not work toilet did not work. There was no dinner services. Hardly no drink service. Ice machine broken dirty filthy . To top it off this was mini school break for my children. That has special needs / autistic . I was beyond frustrated . It's hard to explain to a special needs child why we living fun place. I had to book somewhere else after I left because I was so disgusted and with a crying child. I shouldn't had to pay anything. I deserve my money fully back ! Mind you manager at front desk tells me that they closing even WORST!!!!! I deserve full refund !
I had the WORST experience here. First and foremost the hotel is completely outdated and for what they charge I was expecting a lot more. Secondly, when we arrived our room was freezing and it took over 24 hours for the room to warm up once we changed the temperature in the room. When you come from a water park wet into a freezing room it is not always the best feeling. We had to sit in the bathroom with the hot water running in order to warm up so no one got sick. Our hair dryer was broken. and last but not least I woke up with 8 bites on my body. The first night I woke up with 3 and i ignored them figured it was just a mosquito bite but the following morning when we were checking out I woke up with 8 in total. One of them was very large and worried me. We were able to go to the water park again that day but I wanted nothing to do with the hotel at this point. I went to the front desk and reported to them that i was bit by something, don't know what but it was something in the room. Before I could even show the manager the bites she cut me off and said "this is how this works, we fill out an incident report and call you in 4 days when the exterminator calls" NOW i don't know about you but if it was BED BUGS I am not waiting 4 days to find out so I can bring them into my home. I filled out the paper and waited 4 days, never heard anything. I actually forgot about it and called them when I seen the charge on my credit card 2 WEEKS LATER. When I called it took 15 minutes to even reach the front desk because there is only 2 people who work the front desk at a time and people wait 20 minutes just to check in. When I called the woman said no manager was available until 3, I guess they don't have managers on each shift and there is only 2 managers. I told her it was imperative that someone call me back that day because it is ridiculous to wait this long for some type of response. She took my number and said someone would call me but they haven't called yet because the exterminator STILL hasn't came to the hotel to inspect. NOW, they said they close the room and make it out of order, but mind you it has been two weeks!!! If it was bed bugs they could have traveled to other rooms by now. Now THREE weeks later I am still trying to get someone on the phone and no one answers. This is just ridiculous, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and the water park is very basic so if you are looking to go expecting a lot please don't. there is one Kiddie section, a small lazy river, a piss pool, a Jacuzzi, and 3 slides. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Oh BTW if you're an adult looking to have a drink at their advertised tiki bar make sure you ask what day and time they have a bartender available because in an entire weekend spent there they did not have anyone to work the bar except on Saturday for 2 hours, so if you miss the window they expect you to walk through the hotel, wet, in a bathing suit to the restaurant for $15 drinks. I am completely displeased with this hotel and water park and believe I will take further action if my bites are not addressed. I still have marks on my body now 3 weeks later. Also, I forgot to mention that they will only issue a refund if it is bed bugs. What does that do for the bites all over my body or the fact I was bit by SOMETHING in your hotel. I went to an Urgent Care the following day because the bites were so itchy I couldn't take it no more, they were all inflamed and swollen. I also forgot to mention how disgusting the indoor pool and Jacuzzi was in the hotel. There is slime and stains all over the pool floor, the Jacuzzi was just disgusting with things floating around in it. Totally worth the $278 a night i paid. good luck with future guests, you're going to need it!
There was broken glass in the gym, all of the gym equipment was totally destroyed. The pool had no water circulating and all kinds of crap floating in it. The hot tub water was green and would almost foam over when it was turned on. Beds are very uncomfortable heat did not work, TV did not work. My daughter ordered the curry chicken and it came to her half cooked. When I returned it and ordered something else they still tried to charge me for it. Breakfast buffet was a joke. Not to mention that I now have a rash spreading on my legs that I am positive came from this place. No I née to go see a doctor. NEVER AGAIN!!!!. this place needs to be shut down by the health department asap.
I believe the negative reviews were written by people with little or no travel and hotel experience. The staff are excellent caring people in every department. The hotel was upon a time 4 star, but has become worn and not as tidy, but it was clean and sanitary. My 8, 10, and 12 year old children and I loved the indoor pool which was open until 10 pm. The indoor water park had a lazy river and two awesome slides that my kids enjoyed. There was some things for younger children as well. They had some phone problems, but I booked on line without a hitch.
