  • Nice grounds, real history of Texas site that isn't a battlefield but an earliest of settlements. Nearby museum and live tours as well as an inviting amphitheater. Weather gets a vote on how enjoyable it is to roam and learn about the lives of thriving pioneers, so plan wisely.
  • Not only is this an interesting park to visit and learn about early Texas history and the battles that led to Texas becoming a Republic it is also a good place in the springtime for native wildflowers.
  • Well kept park area with a good visitor center. The volunteer guide was excellent. A must see for any Texan.
  • A wonderful Texas historical site. They have a nice visitor center, a replica of Independence Hall, and lots of wildflowers to enjoy.
  • Very interesting place to see. The workers there work as live action role play of how life would have been. They focus a lot of historical accuracy and what happened specifically at that farm. I thought the slave quarters were very thought provoking when compared to the house. All the staff are very informed and they love to answer history questions. I also got to make a marble so that was also very fun.
