National Mall, Washington DC
(4.4/5 based on 4,800+ reviews on the web)
Visit National Mall, the historical national park where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his "I Have a Dream" speech. The park contains the Washington Monument and spans the region between the Lincoln Memorial and the United States Capitol. This park hosts numerous recreational activities, festivals, and concerts, but is most appreciated as a site for historic political rallies and gatherings, such as the Vietnam War Moratorium Rally in 1969. Millions of people visit the park annually to stand in the place where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous speech, and every four years Americans flood the park to watch the Presidential Inauguration. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to National Mall and many more Washington DC attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Washington DC vacation route planner.
