  • Great monument to fallen officers. The site has a nice memory wall, beautiful lion statutes and a small water feature. Parking is tricky, there are parking meters on the road that fill up quickly. Best option is to take Metro red line and get off at Judiciary Square station. The escalators drop you right off in the middle of the monument. I would say you could see the whole monument and pay your respects in about 1 hour.
  • The memorial is quite well appointed. One is able to appreciate the sacrifices made by those whose names are listed.
  • Been coming to the National Peace Officer Memorial Services for over 20 years. I pictured that one day, my 2 children would walk down the path of fallen officers for me, but instead, it was for their mother. Now we try to come as often as possible as a family.
  • I enjoy paying tribute to our Nation's fallen Police Officers. My uncle's name is engraved here.
  • Very subtle place where you can pay tribute to the law enforcement officers who paid the ultimate price for their duties to protect us civilians and to do what days are sworn to do a poll the law and protect us all I have the upmost respect for most police officers someone mean just like in life some people look good some people look bad but this is a Memorial dedicated to fallen officers which I dedicate this review 2

Where to stay in Washington DC

Most visitors to Washington, D.C., end up in the East End, the old downtown district containing most of the city's major cultural attractions. For a more authentic Washingtonian experience, consider staying at a smaller hotel just a little north or east of this busy area. Neighborhoods outside downtown offer less expensive accommodations and affordable street parking, as well as opportunities to meet more locals and fewer tourists. Alternatively, try a hotel in Georgetown, packed with high-end shops and Colonial architecture.
