  • Small square, located at the exit of the subway. Apparently there's nothing very special. Little known among tourists.

  • Extremely moving place. As an LEO I highly recommend a visit by everyone who is in the industry or close to it in any way. Great reminder of the sacrifices these men and women have made to keep up safe. #bluefamily
  • Awe inspiring monument that it will never be complete as we continue to add the names of our fallen heroes year after year. Honor them, remember them and their sacrifice! 'Walk the beat on Heaven's streets, you've done your time in hell.'
  • I had a fantastic visit here. It just so happens that today was the day for the memorial service. I was able to witness the various companies with their bagpipes from all across the country coming to the memorial to recognize those that gave all so that we can have our freedoms so very touching moving place.
  • This memorial isn't really one that you'd intentionally visit, but if you stumble upon it, take the time to walk along the circle reading the names of fallen heroes. At night, it's a little magical being lit up so well. A giant metal lion perches at the end of the memorial.
  • Fascinating place to remember those who have fallen in the line of duty. Beautiful memorial! On peak hours there is a volunteer on site for any questions one may have. There are also two binders full of the fallen officers and where to locate them on the memorial. The binders are updated periodically according to the volunteer. I would highly recommend the memorial as a go to stop in D.C.
