Where to stay in Warwick

The lodgings in Warwick are primarily small, charming bed and breakfasts. Many are restored cottages, though there is one large hotel built to mimic early 20th-century houses in the area. Book a room ahead of time in the fall, because many of the small cottages fill up with Applefest visitors.

  • This place is so peaceful and relaxing. Art is in the most unexpected places here (a piece of glass in the wall, something carved into the path) every where you look, there's something to see.
  • I discovered Pacem In Terris a few years back. I did not realize what a gem of place it was and for years had driven past it not realizing what I was missing. The metal sculptures of Frederick Franck are amazing. You can find about 30 of these pieces throughout the grounds. Franck was a visionary of peace and human oneness. The place itself is a piece of art filled with more art. There are spots to quietly reflect and think. You can watch the Waywayanda Creek babble by or sit in solace in a garden grove. Franck's retelling of the Zen parable entitled "The Tao of the Cross & The Oxherding Parable" is awe-inspiring. Franck ties Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, and nature into his work. There's something for people of belief and non-belief alike. The weekend concert series during the summer is amazing. If you like classic music this needs to be a venue you attend.
  • Great place, very peaceful. Awesome and deep sculptures and art!
  • This is a memorial sculpture garden and contemplative space dedicated to the ideals of both inner-and-world peace. The artist and author, Fredrick Frank, created this space nestled alongside Wawayanda Creek, for all to enjoy. The best parking is on the right side of Covered Bridge Rd at the corner of Onderdonk Rd. The entrance to the garden is via a gate at the directly across the street. Note that the garden is open only on weekends, seasonally ( May-Sept).
  • Beautiful and will immediately bring you a sense of peace and calm. We'll worth visiting.
