  • Lots of hiking and beautiful scenery surround the dam. Mountain biking, boating, camping are just a few of the activities in Kinzua area.
  • I absolutely love the beauty, the scenery!! w the water, the mountains, its like looking at a portrait.. the best time is in the autumn when the leaves are changing colors!! OMG!!! WANNA SEE BEAUTY , just visit PA
  • Absolutely gorgeous! You don't even have to stop. The drive by is beautiful. Rt.59 almost encircles The senic Kinzua Dam. A solid wall of rocks with sporadic crystal waterfalls sits on the other side of the road. If 59 will get you where you're going, Take 59 to the Kinzua Dam. There are senic pull offs.
  • May 2011 As our Canadian motorcycle group rides through to the "Pennsylvania Wilds" we do a pit-stop, stretch our legs and feed the fish at this dam. It's also a great scenic stop.
  • Nice for a short stop. Not really much to do but have a quick look. Check for the giant carp on the upper side of the dam. While you're there, check out the Bent Run waterfalls. They are a mile east of the dam and only a 30 second walk from the parking area.
